How to enter product key on office.com/myaccount
To enter the product key, you need to go to www.office.com/setup, log in with your Microsoft account, and enter the product key there.
Also, if your product key has already been entered, you need to:
- Visit office.com/myaccount, choose my account page to install Office set up on your device.
- If you don’t have an account, you can create one by tapping Register Now button.
- If you’re a new user and installing office for the first time, you might not get to see an account page yet. You’ll have to set that up as a part of installing Office suite.
What is on the My Account Page?
With www.Office.com/myaccount page, users can download, install and re-install Office 365, Office 2016, and Office 2013, or manage your Office 365 subscription. Also, you can enter your product key and get technical support from MS Office experts.
On My Account Page, you will have two options/questions as mentioned below:
Do you already have Office?
If you already have an Office suite, you can sign in with your Office account used to buy or activate the Office setup.
Get the link to Sign in with your other Microsoft account too.
If you have forgotten the Microsoft account that you used, MS Support might be able to help you recover the account and password.
Do you have an Office product key? If yes, you just need to enter your product key.
Don’t have Office yet?
If you don’t have Office, you can get one from www.office.com/setup or buy it from the Office store.
If you have an Office 365 subscription, then on your My Account page, you will be able to:
Manage your account, share the subscription (Office 365 Home only), access services like Skype and OneDrive, and get help and support.
Where to find office product key?
Office product key is 25 character alpha-numeric keycode which is printed at the back of the Office product you buy from a retailer or get in registered Email ID when purchased online.
